I am writing this blog to highlight my recent experience of ordering a new Airtel broadband connection. I had ordered the connection on 4th March 2021 and had been eagerly waiting for the installation to take place. However, my experience with Airtel has been less than satisfactory, to say the least.

On the day that I had ordered the connection, I received a message from Airtel stating that I would receive a call from their representatives for further processing. However, I did not receive any calls until the next day. Despite my repeated attempts to contact Airtel, I had to wait for another day for their representatives to call.

When I did finally receive the call, the representative informed me that the installation would take place in the next two days. However, even after the two-day window had passed, no installation was made. I called their customer care and the representative informed me that I would receive a call from their technician to fix the appointment. But, the technician didn't call me until three days later.

Finally, after a week's wait, the technician arrived to install my Airtel broadband connection. Although he arrived on time, he made a significant mistake while installing the connection. He hammered a nail into my wall without my permission, causing damage to the wall. Despite my objections, he told me that it was a common practice and would not cause any harm.

I was extremely disappointed by this, as I had not given permission for such an installation process. To make things worse, the connection provided was also not up to the mark, with frequent disconnections and network issues.

In conclusion, my experience of installing Airtel broadband was not satisfactory. The lack of communication and coordination between the representatives and the technician has caused me significant inconvenience. Additionally, the careless and unauthorized installation process has caused damage to my property. I hope that Airtel would take necessary actions to improve their installation process and customer service.
